We wanted to make a casket using only wood, no metal fasteners. The dovetail joint became the theme of the build covering both function and beauty. The casket base was simple to construct. The lid however being a compound mitre took a little more calculating. As it turns out a compound mitre dovetail joint jig wasn't readily available. We had to create a jig but once dialed in we were very pleased with the result.
